Awakening
We're in a war. A war not of flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). And too many are walking around blindfolded, shackled by deception, and playing right into the enemy's hands. It's time to rip off the blindfold, shatter the chains, and unleash the warrior within. It's time to recognize that the enemy is not flesh and blood, but the spiritual forces that seek to keep you from your true potential and destiny in Christ. This battle requires vigilance, discernment, and a willingness to confront the lies that have taken root in your mind.
James 1:8 "a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." How many people get caught in this trap? One foot in the world, one foot in the Kingdom. Lukewarm. Pathetic. God spits that out (Revelation 3:16). You can't serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). Choose this day whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15). Stop wavering. Stop making excuses. Pick a side and fight. This isn't a game; it's a battle for your soul. Every decision you make either aligns you with God's purpose or pulls you further into the darkness. There is no middle ground. You must be decisive, committed, and unwavering in your pursuit of truth.
Look at Paul. Before his encounter on the road to Damascus, he was an evil persecutor of Christians (Acts 9). He was convinced he was right, blinded by religious arrogance. But God, in His infinite power, knocked him down and gave him a reality check. He blinded him physically to open his spiritual eyes. That moment of brokenness, of utter dependence, transformed him into the apostle who shook the world. What's your Damascus Road? What's it going to take for you to wake up? Are you waiting for a divine intervention to shake you to your core? Or will you proactively seek the truth and allow God to transform you from the inside out? The road to Damascus is not a one-time event; it's a continuous journey of surrender, repentance, and transformation.
Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:13-14). Are you hiding your light? Are you afraid to speak the truth because it might offend someone? The world doesn't need more politically correct platitudes. It needs the raw, unfiltered truth of the Gospel. Be the contrast. Be the salt that stings, the light that exposes the darkness. Don't compromise. Don't back down. The world will try to silence you, to intimidate you, to make you conform to its standards. But you must stand firm in your faith, knowing that you are called to be a beacon of hope in a world shrouded in darkness.
Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." This isn't a suggestion; it's a command. These aren't optional extras; they're the weapons you need to wage war against the darkness. Cultivate these virtues. Let them flow from you like a river. The fruit of the Spirit is not something you can manufacture on your own. It's the result of a deep, surrendered relationship with God. When you submit your will to His, He will empower you to live a life that reflects His character and brings glory to His name.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (Psalm 73:26). Let that sink in. Your body will weaken. Your emotions will betray you. But God? He is unshakeable. He is your rock, your shield, your fortress. Cling to Him with everything you have. He is all you need. In the chaos, when you feel overwhelmed and defeated, God is your ultimate source of strength. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will guide you, protect you, and strengthen you to overcome every obstacle that comes your way.
“Change doesn’t start with a spark. It starts with a burial. Where you bury the old you and all the lies you believed. Where excuses meet your purpose. It’s not the end. It’s the beginning” It's a process of shedding the old self and embracing the new creation that God has called you to be. It requires humility, vulnerability, and a willingness to confront your deepest fears and insecurities. But as you surrender to God's transforming power, you will emerge stronger, wiser, and more resilient than ever before.
Don’t let the world bring you down or the storms dim your light. The sun doesn’t debate the night. It breaks through the void and splits open the dark. It’s steady. It’s fierce. It rises and overcomes. Chase the light and the shine. The world will try to extinguish your flame, to discourage you from pursuing your dreams. But you must remember that you are a child of God, created with a unique purpose and destiny. Don't let anyone or anything hold you back from fulfilling your purpose.
The time for lukewarm Christianity is over. The world is burning, and it needs men and women of God to rise up and be the warriors He has called us to be. Break free from spiritual blindness, cast off the chains of deception, and ignite your purpose. The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12). Be violent for the Kingdom. Go to spiritual warfare against the forces of darkness. Be bold, courageous, and relentless in your pursuit of truth and righteousness. Take a stand for what you believe in, even when it's unpopular or uncomfortable. Be a force for change in a world that desperately needs it. Step out of the fire and embrace the reignition and restoration.
